Speciality Courses » Drysuit Diver

The water temperatures around New Zealand vary substantially. Many people miss out on the best diving of the year, wintertime, because they find they become chilled during and after their dive. Using a drysuit can eliminate this chill and allow you to complete more dives a day, all year round, in total comfort. They also don't "shrink" like wetsuits are prone to do, offering a looser fit which makes donning and doffing much easier.

The course includes:

The planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of dry suit diving
Proper procedures for buoyancy control
Ascent and descent technique training
Routine, user-level, preventative maintenance and performance checks on dry suits.
